Graduated in 1978 from Newcastle University. He bought the Denton Burn practice in 1980 and the Netherby Drive practice in 1995., incorporating the Bill Smiley surgery in 2000. David has 30 years experience and is interested in the efficient provision of NHS Dental services. David likes travel golf and mountain biking, outside dentistry. He has been elected a member of the Local Dental Committee for the past 10 years.
Emma Hand BDS

Graduated in 2000 from Newcastle University. She joined the practice as an associate and has been here for 9 years. Emma’s special interests are in Conservation and Children’s dentistry. Outside, she enjoys outdoor activities, travelling and crafts. She has been elected a member of the Local Dental Committee.

Graduated in 2000 from Newcastle University. Then practiced in Edinburgh for 5 years, before returning to Newcastle. He is interested in the provision of NHS dental care. His special interest is Prevention and outside dentistry, he travels, gardens and goes to the theatre.

Divya graduated in 1992 from Newcastle University and has been with the practice for 7 years. Her special interest is Children’s and NHS dentistry. Outside dentistry she likes cooking, general fitness and looking after two children.

Caroline graduated in 2001 from Newcastle University. She joined the Royal Army Dental Corps leaving to join David Rundle in 2005. Her particular interest is Oral Surgery. Outside dentistry Caroline enjoys sport, playing hockey for Newcastle Ladies, having played county hockey in her youth.

Joerg graduated from Tuebingen University (Germany) in 1995. He has a Doctorate and joined Rundle Dental Practice in 2009. Outside dentistry he enjoys playing the guitar, the piano, cookery, photography and travel.
